Workspace Design & Build Responsive Website Design

Workspace Design & Build Responsive Website Design

Working alongside a Manchester based PR firm we were given a brief to design and develop a responsive website and corporate logo for Workspace Design & Build. The design brief specified that the project must be built on Wordpress CMS, feature a contact form, gallery to showcase various Workspace case studies and blog. Wordpress is a great platform for those on a budget but our in-house coded framework RedPrism is better suited for people wanting something a little more bespoke and specialised.. A wireframe design and Photoshop mockup were initially created and presented to the client. The home page features the main hero slider featuring Workspace Projects and the whole site built with royal blue and grey is complemented by professional Photography of workspace projects. The Gibson font family was used for the project which hits the right spot for many people and on many levels. It is a humanist sans serif typeface designed by eminent Canadian type designer Rod McDonald. The big bold titles stand out on every page and fit the style of the site perfectly. The final result is a great looking website that looks beautiful on any device and showcases the client's projects. We have three tiers of website design: 1. Brochure style websites are our most affordable and serve well for businesses needing a primary web presence. 2. Wordpress built websites are our middle of the road price band. Wordpress is a CMS platform originally designed for blogging but over the years, it's been heavily modified and can also be used for online stores. Wordpress allows for the end user to change and add their own content. Built from base templates, we help to keep costs down for our customers. 3. RedPrism, is our fully bespoke framework and CMS, all hand coded in-house our backend developer created it to be lightning fast, secure and fully customisable to the customer's requirements. ...

On Thursday, we travelled down to Birmingham for our second visit to the Small Business Sunday Winners Event held at the ICC. Every Sunday evening ex-Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis, an entrepreneur passionate about small businesses selects six companies from those who tweet him about their business and what makes them different. On a Monday evening, he re-tweets the selected businesses and they then become part of the #SBS winners club. We won our SBS award on the 14-12-14, just before Christmas and attended our first event in January 2015. Once a year Theo then invites the winners to an all inclusive event of talks, networking, questions and food and drink! Improve your SEO and make customers happier in 2016 - Website and Page Speed

We all hate waiting and when it comes to the web, you have a limited window of opportunity to impress. If much of that window is spent waiting for a web page to load than navigating a site you’ve already blown it. Page load, page speed, download times – there are many names associated to this but it layman terms it means “how long does it take my website to load”. Page speed has become an important ranking factor and we’ve many reasons why you should care. Customer satisfaction and search engine optimisation.
