Feel Good February- Wigan & Leigh Hospice

We’ve worked with Wigan & Leigh Hospice for a number of years now, it’s such a fantastic charity and they do a great job in the community. Small Business Sunday Event 2016

Every Sunday evening ex-Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis, an entrepreneur passionate about small businesses selects six companies from those who tweet him about their business and what makes them different. On a Monday evening, he re-tweets the selected businesses and they then become part of the #SBS winners club. We won our SBS award on the 14-12-14, just before Christmas and attended our first event in January 2015. Once a year Theo then invites the winners to an all inclusive event of talks, networking, questions and food and drink! This year the entrepreneurial guest speakers were Holly Tucker of Not on the High Street and Mike Pickles of really useful boxes. ...

Twitter – The #Hashtag Part 1

So like many; you ventured to the land of Twitter. It’s a vast world and can often be a little confusing to navigate at first. Once you’ve created a hashtag, other Twitter users can then use that hashtag in their own tweets to expand the conversation on that topic to a larger audience. Hashtags are created by Twitter users and not Twitter and therefore can be as general “#socialmedia” or as specific “#nwdesign” as desired. ...
