They are a leading childhood bereavement charity and the largest provider of services to bereaved children, young people and their families in the UK. In recognition of the big derby game tomorrow, we were browsing through our old design work and came across this 21 year old publication.. This 1992 book was designed and produced in a former life for Rugby League Journalist Mike Latham. It was created in the semi-technical age, when computers were helping create the text and layout, but paste up and camera work were still an aspect of the design world.....those good old days of cow gum, drawing boards and darkrooms....sigh.... ...

While having a sort out in the office yesterday we stumbled across one of our previous work samples from 1996. This particular year we had designed the official annual for the TV show Gladiators. Back then we were working on an Apple Mac Performa 475 with a whole upgraded 8mb of ram! This annual holds fond memories - working to a tight deadline and meeting the publisher the next morning, we were finalising the last few pages at around midnight when the old Mac decided to crash, leaving a corrupt file that we couldn't re-open...there was no other options but to re-do all that was lost working many late nights.....happy days.... ...

After a period of busy work activity, we're pleased to launch the revised NW Design website. We've still a bit to go to reach our intended goal and hope to keep adding information over the next few weeks.
