Design for the Wind Turbine Sector

It’s always great for any company to receive new enquiries and when we were contacted a week ago by Warrington based business Windtex with the opportunity to work with them on an urgent exhibition project as always we were happy to assist.

With a timeframe of just a week and tasked to Design a Presentation Folder, Inserts, 4 Page Brochure and Stationery including Printing and Delivery we knew we’d be somewhat up against it, and it’s exactly that which makes us different to other creative studios.

The Project

Presentation Folder

The presentation folder we created included a glue flap finish, although it does add to the cost due to additional finishing time it certainly gives a much more professional look and feel when compared to a self locking type.

A spot UV finish was also suggested but with such a short turnaround including the initial artwork design a decision was made to skip that process for this initial exhibition run. You can add another day to the finishing process adding a spot UV and we just couldn’t risk missing the tight deadline.

Presentation Folder Inserts

A total number of 7 different A4 inserts were created for the presentation folder, these highlight the various services that Windex offer to the Wind Farm industry, primarily Wind Turbine Blade maintenance and repair. These were printed double sided on a 170gsm silk board and can be tailored or added to depending on each individual client, that’s the additional benefit to a presentation folder and inserts.

Brochure

We also created an A4 6 page brochure finished in a Roll Fold and again printed on a 170gsm Silk board. The brochure outlines the specialist services they offer to the Wind Farm industry and outlines their innovative reporting and inspection system.

Business Cards

Newly designed business cards were designed keeping in style with the above marketing materials. Printed on a 400gsm card and finished with a Matt Lamination they’re a nice addition required at every expo.

Conclusion

In total, it was a nice project to work on and we successfully managed to turn it around in such a short space of time, A week turnaround for a project of this size is considered good going, considering we had a Bank Holiday thrown into the mix too.
