Ticket to slide in Wigan!

What could be more fun than racing down a 125m long double width slide in the blistering sun constructed in Wigan town centre?

Another great idea to help fund Wigan & Leigh Hospice who require £7,400  per day just to run!

This is raised by donations and fundraising activities organised by people across the borough.

Inspired by a similar attraction earlier this year which saw thousands of people flock into the centre of Bristol, daredevil riders will race each other in two lanes from the Grand Arcade to the finish line outside Wilkinson.

The giant open-air water slide on Standishgate in aid of Wigan and Leigh Hospice will run on Saturday, August 16 from 11am until 4.30pm.

There are 700 tickets priced £10 available on a first come first served basis by ringing the Hospice 01942 524204 or visiting their site.
